Here is a short improvisation on a minor cadence. Have fun. Click on the score (or here) to follow the link to youtube.

Slowly getting the right form and shape!
Roughmix of one of seven pieces for ministrings (for stringplayers aged 8-12)
Working on a new piece for piano and strings (no strings attached yet :-)
Check out a draft version (Midi sounds!)
One of his best solos really. So melodical. You can "watch" the solo on Youtube here.
Can you guess the title of this tune? It was recorded in 1986. The band played at the North Sea Jazz Festival.
There are 3 voices going on simultaniously. Fun to play!
I finally managed to put the social media buttons up. They had dissappeared! Changing theme and back again helped (this is a weebly site). I had to reupload all pics after that, minor detail :-)
I wrote a piece for my choir, the St. Mary Gospel Singers. They are eager to perform it on the Stadtfest Heinsberg on the 10th of September! Here is page 1:
I made a version of Fools and put it on youtube:
This is what happened:
"we had to take down your video". No yt, you didn't 'have to', you were asked to and you complied.
"You received a copyright strike". Yes yt, because you decided to give me one. Nobody asked you to do that. You want to treat your users that way.
So I learn Youtube hits first, then warns you. Hm, way to go.
Here is page 1...
You can watch the transcription with the original audio here: solo transcription with band.
Or simply the naked solo: solo transcription
Youtube doesn't allow me to upload the original soundtrack due to copyright infringement. Fair enough, so I put the video on vimeo. Makes me wonder how legal it is to put a transcription online even when I'm not selling it.
Added Google Analytics.
Added 'Transcriptions' to the website. I have 20 or so transcriptions worth checking out. They are mostly handwritten and I'm still looking for a nice way to present these.
Also added a 'for students' tab under various. I have uncountable pieces for beginner pianoplayers. Some of them are really just a base to start jamming.
And also added a 'Mini-strings' tab under various. The local musicschool has a string orchestra with 10+ kids eager to play this stuff, and they do. The idea is to make recordings of the pieces in September and present these to Stretta.
